HISTORY

1983 Vinge is created following a merger between four leading law firms: Vinge Ramberg Dahlin in Gothenburg and Stockholm, Adolf Öhmans in Stockholm, Olsson & Lidgard in Helsingborg and Almgren, Forkman and Liedholm in Malmö. The merger creates a firm with a broad spectrum of expertise and specialist competence and the firm is the first in Sweden to provide a full service able to satisfy the requirements imposed by trade and industry.

1985 Vinge opens office in Hong Kong.

1989 Vinge opens office in Brussels. Merger with tax consulting firm, Grosskopf, in Gothenburg.

1991 Merger with Sandströms in Stockholm.

1991 Vinge founds Scandinavian Law Alliance together with Kromann Reumert in Copenhagen and Thommessen Krefting Greve Lund in Oslo.

1993 Vinge introduces the Vinge Scholarship which every year rewards excellent student theses at the law faculties of the universities in Uppsala, Lund, Stockholm and Gothenburg.

1993 Vinge opens office in Shanghai.

2002 Vinge initiates the diversity project to promote a more diverse legal profession.

2006 Vinge organises Vinge Week for the first time. The event becomes an annual recurring event and is intended for law students.
