1983: Vinge was formed through the merger of four law firms, i.e. Vinge Ramberg Dahlin in Gothenburg and Stockholm, Adolf Öhmans in Stockholm, Olsson & Lidgard in Helsingborg and Almgren, Forkman and Liedholm in Malmö. The result was a law firm that possessed both extensive experience and specific competence and Vinge became the first law firm in Sweden to provide a full service to business clients.
1985: Vinge opens an office in Hong Kong.
1989: Vinge opens an office in Brussels and merges with Grosskopf Skattekonsult in Gothenburg.
1991: Merger with Sandströms in Stockholm.
1993: Vinge establishes the Vinge Scholarship, an annual award given to the best business law essays written by undergraduates reading law at the universities of Uppsala, Lund, Stockholm and Gothenburg.
1999: Vinge opens an office in Shanghai.
2002: Vinge initiates the Diversity Project as part of its efforts to further a more multifaceted legal profession.
2006: Vinge organises the first Vinge Week, an event directed towards law students. The event has proven to be a resounding success and a recurring annual event.
