- Vinge acted as a legal advisor to Swedbank in its acquisition of Ukrainian TAS-Kommerzbank which was completed in July 2007 with a deal value of approximately USD 1 billion;
- Vinge represented Russian OJSC Oil Company Alliance in a merger with Swedish company West Siberian Resources;
- Vinge represented the Russian steel corporation OAO Severstal in conjunction with a planned investment in Sweden;
- Vinge represented EnergyO Solutions Russia AB in connection with a placement of shares with institutional investors globally and listing on OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm;
- Vinge represented a Russian company in its acquisition of the Swedish company Korsnäs Packaging AB.
Some examples of Vinge’s recent experience in international arbitration:
- Counsel for a Russian party in a major arbitration in the shipbuilding industry.
- Counsel for a German investor in a major bilateral investment treaty dispute against an Eastern European state.
- Counsel in Swedish challenge proceedings concerning an award made under the UK-Czech Bilateral Investment Treaty awarding the investor more than USD 350 million.
- Co-counsel in arbitration proceedings involving a major Russian telecommunication company comprising a dispute which amount exceeds USD 1 billion.
- Counsel in a joint venture arbitral dispute involving a number of the Eastern European markets in relation to certain consumer products comprising value of more than EUR 10 billion.
